The Social Cafe
The Ambedkarite Social Cafe is a space primarily dedicated for young Dalit women and Dalit girls to come together for study, conversations, exchange of ideas, and fellowship. Inaugurated in November 2022, the Social Cafe is located in New Delhi.

The Social Cafe was inaugurated during the visit of Laura Begu, a long time friend and feminist partner of GCDW’s leaders. We were also joined by Meena Kotwal, the founder of Mooknayak and one of India’s most prominent Dalit journalists.
